JTF was awarded a 18.5m contract by GSA Global Supplies to provide Office Supplies to DOD and Civilian end users in the CONUS and OCONUS. JTF was able to improve transaction speed and delivery times by processing all orders via EDI, labeling and tagging all orders, as well as providing 2 day shipping anywhere in the world.

GSA Global Supply was recently designated by OMB as a Best-in-Class (BIC) government-wide acquisition solution. To achieve this designation, the program was evaluated against the following five major criteria outlined in the OMB’s Category Management Guidance Document Version 1.0:

  • Rigorous requirements definitions and planning processes;
  • Appropriate pricing strategies;
  • Data-driven demand management strategies;
  • Category and performance management strategies; and
  • Independently validated reviews.

Part of the review process involved demonstrating the potential savings to federal agencies, including direct cost comparisons as well as administrative saving that customers could realize by having GSA handle the administrative burden of procuring common commodities.

Forward Supply Points

GSA Global Supply offers multiple forward supply points to support OCONUS customers. These operations stock and deliver hundreds of high-demand products for customers in Europe and across the Pacific. During 2023, additional sites will open to support customers in Alaska, Puerto Rico and ten countries in the Middle East. Products are typically delivered in less than a week, compared to the weeks (or longer) it may take for delivery from the continental U.S.

GSA Global Supply offers more than 2.5M items identified with part numbers for federal users worldwide, both military and civilian. After extensive collaboration with DLA, we’re pleased to say that all of those GSA Global Supply part-numbered items are now visible and available for MILSTRIP ordering on the FedMall site.
